For most of my career, I had something that’s becoming increasingly rare in today’s music industry: a real mentor.

For seven years, I learned directly from a world-class mix engineer — not just how to mix records, but how to build a career. The technical side mattered, of course, but just as important were the things that don’t come from tutorials: work ethic, mindset, organization, communication, client relationships, and long-term thinking.

That kind of traditional path — interning at a studio, assisting, slowly earning trust, and being guided by someone more experienced — is much harder to access today. Many talented mixers might not have that opportunity anymore.

This mentorship exists because I want to help close that gap.

The Mentorship Program

What is this?

This is a one-on-one mentorship, built around real conversations and real work.

We meet once a week for an hour on Meets. Every session is tailored to where you are in your career and what you need most right now. There’s no preset curriculum and no rigid structure — the focus is on helping you move forward in meaningful ways.

For some people, that means refining their technical approach: improving decision-making, workflow, and how they think about mixing by actively working through sessions together.

For others, it’s less about sound and more about everything around it — organization, positioning, networking, client communication, navigating management, or understanding how to grow sustainably in today’s industry.

The common thread is this: you’ll have consistent, honest guidance from someone who is actively working in the field and deeply invested in helping you make better decisions as you build your career.

No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just real experience, shared openly.

Who is this for?

This mentorship is designed for mixers
who are already working
, have a solid
technical foundation, and are looking to
take the next step in their careers.

You should already be mixing regularly
and feel confident enough in the basics —
but also aware that there’s more to develop,
both creatively and professionally.

This works best for people who are
committed, curious, and willing to put in
the work between sessions.

Rather than quick answers or surface-level advice, this mentorship is meant for mixers who want long-term growth and are serious about improving every aspect of how they work.

How it works?

This mentorship is offered through an application process.

Interested applicants will be asked to fill out a short Google Form sharing their background, goals, and current situation. From there, a group will be selected for the first round of mentorships, with additional applicants placed on a waitlist for future openings.

This helps ensure that the mentorship stays focused, intentional, and genuinely valuable for everyone involved.

A final thought

I’m doing this for the same reason my mentor invested his time in me: because the right guidance, at the right moment, can change the trajectory of a career.

If you’re an active mixer looking for clarity, perspective, and real support as you grow, I’d love to hear from you.
