Fernando Reyes is a mix engineer with over a decade of experience shaping world-class records across genres and formats. Originally from Peru and now based in Miami, his path has taken him through New York City, where he spent eight years immersed in the craft at some of the industry’s most iconic studios.
After earning a degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University, Fernando began his professional career at Electric Lady Studios. There, he crossed paths with seven-time GRAMMY-winning mixer Michael Brauer and quickly became his lead engineer and right-hand collaborator. Over the next several years, Fernando played a key role in high-profile stereo and Dolby Atmos projects, including work with The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and others.
Today, Fernando works with a wide range of artists, bringing a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to both stereo and immersive mixing. Known for combining deep technical understanding with a music-first mindset, he focuses on clarity, emotion, and impact—always in service of the song.
